Hello all friends of HCT.
I just wanted to take the time to update everyone on the happenings of the theater. First off, on the sad note, we have had to cancel our scheduled upcoming production of "Driving Miss Daisy." We had difficulty... finding actors to fill the cast of 3... (which is even sad to say, but true) but we were able to cast the play. After rehearsals started, there ended up being a substantial conflict of scheduling and after initially having a venue set up to perform "DMD", the venue then became unavailable.
So, with that being said, we continue on with the re-building process of HCT. Unfortunately, we are used to this process as in the 30 + years of HCT's existence, we've done it before and have come out on top, and we are optimistic that it will happen again. We are currently in talks with a venue in town that we have worked with before about doing a summer production in July and a fall production in November. Just to tease you with a little info, one of these productions could be an audience participating production! Some other things that are in the works is a brand new logo for HCT and having a float in the Tom Sawyer Days parade on July 4th. Please stay tuned here on Facebook, and on our website for information about how you can get involved with HCT. If you are wanting, willing and able to help HCT out in any way, don't hesitate to e-mail us, message us or contacting us by any means as things happen. Now more than ever HCT needs your support & just knowing that we have people wanting to provide quality entertainment everyone can enjoy and that we have an audience to provide for, HCT will continue to grow on the decades of success we have behind us!
