The Hannibal Community Theatre challenges you to test your trivia knowledge with their third Trivia Night Fundraiser in Hannibal on Saturday, November 3rd at 7pm at the St. John’s Lutheran School Gymnasium.
Proceeds from the event will allow the group to continue to provide live entertainment in the area.
HCT began as a Community Education Drama Workshop in the fall of 1978, becoming a not-for-profit corporation in 1981. During the early years, the troupe bounced around from stage-to-stage, before finally finding a home in the original home of the Congregational Church, which served as the home of the American Legion from 1959-2001. In 2009, the troupe returned to their nomadic roots and has performed plays at the historic Star Theatre, the Mark Twain Museum and St. John’s Lutheran School.
The trivia night will include 10 rounds of general trivia knowledge. The entry fee will be $15 per person, or $100 for a team of 8. Teens and Adults are welcome. Teams may also purchase mulligans, or second guesses, during check-in. Food and refreshment will be sold, though participants may bring in snacks and drinks. A silent auction will also be conducted, giving everyone a chance to win items from local and state businesses.
Prizes will be $100 for first place, $75 for second place, and $50 for third.
